Nörgaard Advertising & Design is owned and operated by Kristina Norgaard in Newburgh NY. Before starting her design business in 1996, Ms. Norgaard worked a total of ten years as senior art director of a medium size advertising agency, Marc Duke & Associates as well as advertising manager for a medical marketing company, Ulster Scientific Inc., specializing in medical devices and laboratory equipment.

Kristina Norgaard was born and educated in Stockholm, Sweden, where she recieved her B.A. from Konstfackskolan. After moving to the USA, Ms. Norgaard worked in the fine arts and taught painting and drawing for ten years. She has exhibited her work in solo and group shows and has won several awards, including a grant from the New York State Council on the Arts.
